Growth in Brazilian exports favors Vitória Stone Fair 2013
The growth in the Brazilian exports, the warming of national construction and the resumption of the international market should further stimulate business during the Vitória Stone Fair 2013, leading fair of stone industry in Latin America, to be held in February.
The event, which grows every edition is already with 100% of its spaces booked and accreditation for participation in the International Marble and Granite Fair has already exceeded expectations, reinforcing the momentum experienced by the industry. Participants are entrepreneurs, professionals, architects, designers, journalists and buyers of stones from around the world interested in news releases, a tradition of the fair that opens the calendar for the industry worldwide.
Coveted in the five continents, the Brazilian ornamental stones grew by 6.08% in exports, surpassing the level of US$ 1 billion in 2012. In EspÃrito Santo, headquarters of the international fair, the increase in business was even higher, 12.6%.
Different types of stones recently discovered, technologies, equipment and supplies, services, logistics, support and incentive programs, trends in architecture and interior design, plus the huge variety of ornamental poles of Brazilian producers are exposed in the 34 thousand square meters of event.
The majority of this area is designed for large mining companies, mainly based in EspÃrito Santo, main Brazilian state producer and exporter of natural stones, which present releases in marble, granite, slate, quartzite, travertine, classic and exotic types, plus different forms of processing, cutting, polishing and using stones.
The event is also an opportunity for companies to provide to their customers visits to their industry and quarries. Those interested can also take a tour along the Marble and Granite Route, the first business tourism route of the state, which will be available during the four-day trade show.
The presence of foreign exhibitors is one of the most significant of recent years and producers with centuries of tradition such as Turkey, Greece, India, Pakistan, Egypt and Lebanon.
The support of consulates, embassies and business entities to advertise the Vitória Stone Fair ensured the participation of leading foreign commercial associations as the Arab Chamber, which represents the leading companies of one of the largest consumer markets of stones on the planet.
